NEW YORK, NEW YORK - JUNE 8: On the 40th Anniversary of 'Ghostbusters Day', fans from around the world dressed as characters from the 1984 comedy. This year's celebration is overseen by the Buffalo Ghostbusters fan group on June 8, 2024 in New York City. The annual street party takes place in front of Hook & Ladder 8 the firehouse location used in the film. This year to benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a charitable organization founded in tribute to New York Fire Department firefighter Stephen Siller, who was killed during the September 11 attack and is a charity event for the Towers to the Tunnel 9/11 Fund.
