Endless Battle Continues To Contain Radiative Material But Still Hard To Approach Melt-Down Reactors

FUKUSHIMA, JAPAN - FEB. 27: Desperate works that appear almost endless continue at Fukushima Daiichi (1F) Nuclear Plant to contain enormous amount of radioactive material but it is still impossible to approach reactors as radioactive levels are too high, even after four years from the fatal earthquake and tsunami on March 11 2011. Kyodo News reporters recently covered what was going on inside the fatally damaged plant. Reporters had to wear goggles and white jackets to be protected from radiation. The government has decided to shut down and decommission the 1F plant, and officials said some 6000~7000 workers are employed daily to remove as many debris as possible, but the difficult works appeared proceeding actually just inch by inch. Reactors at the plant are still very hard to approach as radiation levels stay too high, making the time of the whole work hard to see.
