Melbourne Remains In Lockdown As Victoria's COVID-19 Cases Continue To Rise

Face masks or face coverings are now mandatory for anyone leaving their homes in the Melbourne metropolitan area or the Mitchell Shire. The new rule went into effect on Thursday 23 July, and anyone failing to wear a mask in public can receive a $200 fine.
