Historical court day in Quedlinburg

25 March 2023, Saxony-Anhalt, Quedlinburg: A replica of a 13th century reliquary stands on a table before the start of a history play. On the occasion of the historical court days, as they were once held in early Quedlinburg, the association Kaiserfrühling shows history plays. 1050 years ago Otto I was in Quedlinburg for the last time and opened a court day here with envoys from all over Europe. It was once the greatest event that people could experience north of the Alps. The association Kaiserfrühling (Emperor's Spring) commemorated it with a history play and performs the play regularly on weekends at the Finkenherd in Quedlinburg.
