Born with Down Syndrome 49 years ago, Garnons' mother, Maxine, said she treated him just like her other children, only with a little more patience. His father, Bill, said that Garnons loves his job at the Arc store, in Aurora, "he'd rather be at work than at home. We're real proud of what he's done."
