DETAINEES-ADIL PROFILE

Ahmad Adil, of China, ISN 260, was arrested by the Pakistani military when he sought refuge in a Mosque. He had come through the Tora Bora mountains after the bombing got near the Uyghur camp in Afghanistan. The Uyghurs left the camp as a group, were arrested at the same mosque, sent to prisons together and transferred to Guantanamo at the same time. One consistency in their story is that they all insist they were repeatedly told by their captors, first in Afghanistan, then in Cuba, that they were obviously arrested mistakenly. Adil enetered Guantanamo in June 2002 and was released in May 2006. (Photo by Travis Heying/Wichita Eagle/Tribune News Service via Getty Images)
