The Mortal Remains Of St. Pio Arriving At Pietrelcina
Nuns during the vigil dedicated to St. Pio. The mortal remains of Saint Pio, one of the most popular Roman Catholic saints and better known as Padre Pio, returned after 100 years in his country of birth after being exposed in Rome during the celebrations of the Jubilee of Mercy. Padre Pio became famous for bearing the stigmata, which are the marks of Christ.
