London's Savile Row

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM - JULY 2010. A 'Moses'. This object, which bears many names depending on the tailor you speak to, is used to damp cloth before being pressed. It is perhaps one of the most classic items used in Savile Row next to needles, threads, shears and tape measures. A 'Moses' would be made of different fabrics. It is basically rolled up and cut on an end, which is the end that gets damped and then used to spread water over a cloth before being pressed. (Photo by Maximiliano Braun/Getty Images Reportage)
