Brisk Voting In Troubled Torn Kashmir

Thousand of voters linedup outside polling stations in Jammu and Kashmir to cast their votes, while large number of Indian troops were deployed on the streets of Kashmir to stop the protest as the resistance leaders had asked people to stay away from elections and called for complete shutdown in the areas. However polling stations remained under tight security in the first phase of assembly elections.
