Photojournalist Bring Pictures Of Hope To DC's Homeless Children

Reed is transitioning from being homeless. It's all part of award-winning photojournalist Linda Solomon's nationally acclaimed program "Pictures of Hope". The program provides photography lessons to homeless children with hopes of empowering them. Fifteen children from ages 5-12 years old in the Catholic Charities of Washington's "Tenants Empowerment Network" were given point-and-shoot digital cameras from event sponsors (Chevrolet). Today they're learning how to use those cameras to capture their hopes and dreams in pictures.
