10 Years Since Republica de Cromanon's Tragedy

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA - DECEMBER 29: Commemorative plaque reads "In this place it was the type C night Club Republica de Comañon, where the avoidable tragedy occurred on December 30th, 2004" on December 29, 2014 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Cromanon, a night club located in the Buenos Aires district known as Once caught fire the night of December 30th, 2004 during a show of the rock band Callejeros. The disaster made headlines in the international press when concertgoers lit sparklers which started a fire on the disco. Fire killed 194 persons -mostly young people- and 1432 were injured.
