Marriott Hotels Has an Innovation Space Where They Build Prototype Rooms

BETHESDA, MD- OCT 21: At the Marriott world headquarters they have created an "Innovation Lab" to build prototype room arrangements as they respond the changing tastes and needs of customers. The "Innovation Lab" features a large workspace where employees get together for a "Rapid Prototyping" session. There they brainstorm and produce ideas with experts in design, construction and architecture. After an idea has been drawn up, participants can choose from a variety of items to build a small prototype. (Photo by Michael S. Williamson/The Washington Post via Getty Images)
