Kashmir Remains Tense After Execution of Separatist Leader

Apprehensive of a massive public fallout over the execution, Indian authorities clamped a curfew for seven consecutive days in Kashmir even as three people were killed allegedly in Indian government forces' action during protests and clashes . Meanwhile, separatist groups have called for a three day strike beginning Wednesday to press the Indian government for handing over of Guru's mortal remains to his family for his last rites, a demand growing louder by the day in Kashmir.
